We've always visited Japan in Autumn and this is my first time to experience Spring in Japan. I'm having mixed feelings about this as I do not know if I have a pollen allergy. I do have allergic rhinitis so this adds to my concern.
Bought our tickets early on at 12641.58/pax including 20kg luggage roundtrip. My multiple visa expired September 2024 so was planning to get another Visa by Feb 2025 but then Japanese Embassy suddenly announced they require 2months of processing prior to the trip. I swept the travel agencies in Makati for any agency that is still accepting applications. This was at 2nd week of January but I was told they are only accepting travels April 6 onwards, but our travel date is April 4. It was a nightmare! Good thing I ranted about this in our group chat and one friend told me she saw a post that hers was still accepted at Pan Pacific. So I hurriedly went to Pan Pacific in V.Rufino. I was told my visa application will be submitted on Feb 24. I can take this risk rather than having to no chances at all.
To add to my dilemma, I realized I did not have the bank certificate in the envelope. I remembered I put it under the tv console to hide from my son (lol). I went to a near Security Bank Branch and requested one but was told they cannot pull my record. I know I was able to get one before at another branch (not the branch where I opened my account). I called my branch and was told that I am correct and I actually can request the other branch to pull my account and print the bank certificate. So I went to the customer service again and told that I spoke with the manager over the phone and was told that this is doable. She explained to me that she can give me the bank certificate now but not the one that was previously issued to me. I said that's ok, I never touched my money anyway. So thanks to Security Bank's bank anywhere I was able to get my bank certificate in Makati even if my bank is in Alabang.
So fast forward, here's what we did in Japan Spring trip.
